Δ About

Empiric Earth is a physical-world measurement company.

We record what actually happens in the physical world — roads, vehicles, assets, conditions — and turn it into a queryable record of measured fact. Ten years of it. Δ10B+ labelled miles, Δ60M+ edge cases, Δ100M fresh miles every month.

Δ Why we exist

Nothing in the physical world should be able to blindside us.

The world is full of surprises only because almost none of it is measured. That's the whole premise. Measure it, and the surprise goes away.

Mission

What we're doing about it

Measure the physical world — every change, everywhere — and turn it into intelligence that keeps people and machines from being caught out.

Vision

Where this ends up

A physical world with no surprises: nothing happens for the first time, because we've already measured it.

Δ The method

Recorded, not generated.

This is the part that can't be shortcut, and it's the reason the record is worth anything. Four things are true about how it was built.

01

It came from real people on real roads

Every mile is something that actually happened to someone. You can't generate an experience you never had, and a synthetic tail has no ground truth underneath it.

02

It's labelled with what happened next

Most records tell you what a sensor saw. Ours tells you the outcome — which is the only part a model or an underwriter can actually price.

03

It never stops

Δ100M fresh miles a month. The world keeps changing, so a record that stopped measuring is just a snapshot getting worse.

04

We're neutral

We compete with none of our buyers.
